How to convert ogg-movies to mpeg?

Hi!

I have a small problem. I've got several *.ogg-movies which I would like to be able to watch on a regular DVD-player. Now I have two questions.
1. Which format do you suggest for burning to CD's or DVD's, is MPEG the best choice, and in that case, MPEG-2 or what?
2. How do I convert *.ogg-movies to that format?
