    create a key-frame in virtual dub

    i'd like to know if there a key-frame can be created in virtual dub. Once i only can cut the movie on the key-frames i wondered if thats possible.

    Yes. Assuming that the file was created with a codec (such as DivX 3.11 or 4.xx) which provides the ability to set the frequency of keyframes, just load your file into VirtualDub. Under the "Video" dropdown menu, select "Compression". Select the codec that was used to create the video and set its keyframe frequency to whatever you please. Save your file with a new filename.

    You should be aware, however, that this may have a slight negative impact on the quality of the new video versus the original - but you'll have to be the judge of that.
