    newbie

I have various movies on miniDV that I want to get onto pc and copy onto CD as high quality as possible.

I have tried using Adobe Premiere but find this very complicated especially when I want to edit.

I have also tried Windows movie maker which seems a lot easier to use but end quality isn't very good.

Could anybody suggest a better programme for editing movies.

    Thanks

    David

Well, with the mini DV you should be using the firewire for import...and any editor will capture it. Why not try a 30day trial of ULead Video Studio 8...it'll capture DV directly into MPEG (use VCD template if you only want to burn to CD)...and it's super user friendly. Good program for a beginner...and 1/5 the cost of premiere.
