I just get a black screen on TMPGEnc

I am just done finishing this project i did in Premiere Pro . The file is an .avi file whn u export it on to a movie. Whn i use TMPGEnc to convert the files into MPEG-2 it gives me audio but just a black screen.

Can sumone help me out plz

You are probably lacking the appropriate codec. In order to determine which codec(s) you need for a particular .AVI, you should do the following:

1) Load the original video file into VirtualDub (or one of its many variants) or NanDub

2) From the "File" dropdown menu, select "File Information"

3) Post (here) EVERYTHING you see (BOTH video and audio information), or post a screen capture .jpg of the information box
