Movie that has a dropped frame rate and sync problems

I have a movie that drops frame rate in these same places but when I try to fix it with VirtualDub, I then have the sync problems....how do i fix this?

Using synchronizer manually change the framerate for audio and/or video.

Virtual dub under "framerate" "change framerate so that audio and video match"

      Problem

In VirtualDub, I didn't do anything just played the movie and my frame rate problems were gone but at this exact point, a message pops up and the video stops. It says sync error. I did exactly what you said but still the problems persists.

You may have to manually adjust the bitrate in synchronizer.

From your posting I would assume that your media contains a "corrupt frame", which is the cause of your troubles. Accordingly, I would recommend you remove this frame.

Or, try this: split the movie (from where the framerate drop occurs) then follow my previous posting.
