dvds freeze while playing

    dvds freeze while playing

    everything seems to go well when i'm burning but when i go to play the dvd it freezes on me. it works for a bit and then in the middle of the scene it locks up. this happens when i watch it on tv and when i try to watch it on my comptuer. what could be wrong? any help is appreciated.
    also i'm not doing anything on the computer while its burning except for maybe the screensaver

      smells like poor media,,,,
      Let us know your method of burning and your cpu's specs.

          Although it probably is a media problem, it's quite possible that the screensaver MAY interfere with the burn process...

              hmm ok no screensaver next time. thanks i will def try that. ... as for cpu specs i have 512 ram and P4 2.53 Ghz so i don't think its that.
