    DVD Player problems

I have an old dvd player I bought a couple years ago. It was a cheap brand called Coby. When I try to play my burnt dvds in there it says no disc, but the disc plays in the dvd player in my computer. Could the problem be my old cheap dvd player, or is it something I'm doing in the burning process?

    take a look here: http://www.videohelp.com/dvdplayers....=&orderby=Name

It will help you identify whether your Coby standalone supports the DVD-R/DVD+R format.

    How do you burn....?

I burned using Nero and the "UDF/ISO" mode. I also burned on to DVD+R and that doesn't look like it works with most of the Coby players listed in that site.

After finding the player i have it says it will play some +Rs. So I don't know if the problem could be something else.

It's probably just picky to which +R's it will play. Try different brands of +R
