    deleting blurry frames from Avi file

    How can I delete about one minute of out of focus frames from an Avi file?

    Try a program called virtualdub.

      I've tried Virtualdub and deleted the firt 30 seconds of the video which was blurry also...But this part is minute 29 throough 30 of a 35 minute movie..I don't know how to delete the middle part..But thanks for the help anyway...

        It's easy...

        1. Scan to beginning of portion you want to clip
        2. Click the button that looks like a left arrow. (Or go to Edit >> Set selection start or press Home)
        3. Scan to end of portion you want to clip
        4. Click right arrow button (Or got to Edit >> Set Selection End or press End)
        5. Go to Edit >> Delete (Or press delete).
        6. Save your AVI (make sure to have Direct stream copy selected for both audio & video.)

          This procedure is almost exactly like I split a movie in half.Except I didn't know the delete part of it..I copied the instructions and will give it a try and let youknow if I was successful.Thank you Sir Moonie...

              ignignot..Your instructions worked just fine and I was able to delete the blurry part of the film..Thanks for your help
