"i need to play a video on internet"

What format is the video in presently?

"But i don't know how to make it, specially how to record and play it on the web (live)"

Assuming that the original format is AVI, mpeg, ASF, or MOV, you can convert it to a RM streaming format with a program such as "WinAVI Video Converter" or "AVS Video Converter" (These programs are not freeware).

first record your video. when it is done it may have the format avi or mpeg.

the most common format for internet streaming ist the WMV format of microsoft seconded by *.rm format of Real player
and *.mov format by Apple quicktime.

decide what format you like to use first!!!

if it is *.wmv get the Windows media encoder from Microsoft
homepage. it is free. open your movie with that.
then you can decide what features your movie should have.

like "allow streaming only" , or "allow Streaming and Download"
also the bandwith of the preferred target group can be preset.
check out the instructions and guides on MS homepage also.
the both other formats are not freeware ....
