failed to initalize capture device

I am transferring my home videos to dvd and i would like to use my nero program.
I am able to use the power producer 2 software, but i prefer nero.

I have a pci capture card hooked up to my vcr.
When i go to nero and use capture I get a picture w/ sound from the vcr., but when i click the record button i get this message;

Failed to initalize capture device. Please check drive settings.

Can anyone please help?[B]

It may be that Nero's capture feature is not compatible with your capture card. Was the " power producer 2 software" bundled with your card?

Sometimes it takes a little time to receive a response. (Days even) Patience is always a good virtue to have.
