DivX movies all gray in media player

When I play any avi-file in Media Player it is all gray, but the sound is OK. When I play it in BS Player it is all green...
I have tried to reinstall both DivX (3.11 and 4.x) and the BSPlayer but no luck. It still is all gray...
I am at work and I have NT4 OS.
When I play the files at home with XP or ME they usually work fine.
    Anobody know what's wrong?

Perhaps the video card, or the driver, is incapable of playing movies in colour. Try updating the driver, if you're allowed to do so.

What version of DirectX are you running?

No, it has worked fine before!
It just stopped working, I don't know if its the DivX software or something else that's the problem.
I have the latest version of DirectX for NT4, I think it is DirectX 5.

I have installed DivX 4 and 3.11. I answered No to the question if I wanted DivX4 to play all DivX content.

I had WIndows NT and the cartoons I used to watch came out fine, just like in Windows 98. I think their is an option in the "properties" to select color/greyscale. Maybe your movie has a filter for grayscale? You could try removing it?
-Upgrade to a new version of directx
        -try divx 4.12 codec

Sorry if I have been unclear of my problem.
There is no picture, the player resizes to the size the movie is and the sound plays fine, but there is a gray layer on top of the movie so I don't see anything of the picture.
As if someone had put a gray screen on top of the movie.

I would speculate that this problem is related to the hardware of your computer. Or it could have to do with certain graphics software installed on your computer. However, all or any of this is difficult to verify.

Try a different player (I use Yeahplayer) Radlight, and GDIVX are both good.

Consider upgrading to the latest version directx
