DV Camera Recommendations

Hello All,
I have a budget of $1300 (usd) to spend on a new 3ccd dv camera and a tripod. Does anyone here have any recommendations for a camera and/or tripod in this price range? Thanks in advance to all that reply.

at this budget u need to find panasonic. if u try u may find one frm panasonic.

sony is expensv, and i found JVC [not 3ccd] not very good when compared to simlar prised [less actually] panasonic [not 3ccd].
