    problems burning divX to vcd

I may sound stupid but I am having problems burning DivX files to VCD, I have a DVD burner so the problem is not with the size of the file. I am using nero ans simply going through the 'VCD' process. The process converts the file and appears to burn the file to disc, however after the process is complete the disc appears blank in both my computer and DVD player. Anyone got any ideas or had the same problem???

try converting the file to a vcd file using Tmpgenc and then using nero to put it onto a vcd

nero is not that good at converting the files so aswell as fixing your problem you will get much better vcds aswell

better yet, why not convert to dvd? dvd allows higher resolution, and much higher bitrate. as andrewpk200 said, use tmpgenc to do the job. guides to using tmpgenc can be found at http://www.doom9.org

      good luck
