    Sound problems, please help!

I burned my divx movies on CDs under win98 and sinchronisation was ok. Few months ago i installed winXP and all codecs but now i have some sound problems with my burned movies. The problem is that the sound is much quicker than picture. I think there must be some kind of software problem but i´m not sure. I hope anyone can help me. Thanx!

When dose that happen? With every player and movie? Or only with the standard-windows-player?

This happens with every player and every movie i have on CD. I recently got a movie and it´s still on my hard drive and the sinchronisation in this movie is ok.

It almost sounds like a CPU problem, where if the CPU is not fast enough, the audio goes faster than the video. However, given that you can play the files properly on HD, it's possible that the CD drive you're using to read the burned CD is not fast enough to read the data. But then again, I'm not too sure if I'm correct here.

A partial solution. Copy the whole file into your HD and then play it from there.
