convert: ogm + srt OR ogm + embedded srt INTO mpg OR avi

Hi i was wondering how i could convert a movie that comes in ogm + srt OR a movie that has the srt embedded into the ogm. I've tried converting using tmpgenc, but it doesn't convert the subtitles so i get a output file without subtitles, is there a way to convert so that i get the subtitle.

another issue is ogm files that have 2 audios and embedded subtitles, one japanese, one english. how can i convert to have just the english audio and nothing else
