DV converter, please Help

I've bought a Canopus ADVC100 whit Let's Edit .
I've a lot of .avi to edit and burn onto DVD, (I use DVD Workshop) but Let's Edit can read only video file with DV compression.
There is any way to convert .avi (various formats, mpeg1,mpeg2,etc) to DV format?

On the other hand if you want to pass dv to mpeg or dvd:
- Honestech mpeg to encode,
- Canopus procoder,
- CCE etc..
