Write speed

Newbie needs help !!! can not write to dvd any faster than 1x.
type of disc: Maxwell DVD-R 4x 4.7 2hrs
Soft Ware:dvd shrink 3.2 Free Trial Version of Nero 6 Ultra Edition
Tried to configure write speed in nero and nothing changes.

That log says you don't have a disk inserted. Also your hard drive could be very slow or need to be defragmented.

Thanks for the reply. Problem already solved. Missed the drop down window in dvd shrink for write speed. but it will only write 4x max dvd rw drive is 16x. Any way toget a little more speed out of this drive(disc are dvdr- 4x). thanks again.

I noticed you state you are using a "Trial" version of Nero. This will only allow you to write at 2.4x, need to get the full registered version to increase this.
