    dvd freeze on playback on home dvd player

    Hello everyone first thing dvd shrink brill
    ok my problem is im new to this, dvd shrink does what its sposed to but on play back on home dvd player it freezes or tried to error correction on disks
    i changed the disks to more expensive ones same prob
    im running artec 12 speed dvd writer at 6 speed i turn everything else off including all internet and virus protection
    have you got any ideas for me

    Update ypur DVD burner firmware

    Not all expensive media will be the best.

      If the discs playback ok on your s/w DVD player (PowerDVD etc) it means that you have burned successfully. Sounds more like a media compatabilty issue.

      Ensure your standalone DVD player supports the media you are using.... Ensure it is DVD+/- compliant.

      Also do not multi-task whilst you burn....

          thanks for all your ideas.
          i changed from nero to record now still havin same probs even on pc dvd player gonna try couple other thing b4 i give it up as a bad idea

            Hi everyone

            I would ask how long it has been since you have formated your drive and started again?

            Even with some of the modern clean up programs for the registry and your drive a few files still slip the net and I am a firm believer if it worked once it should work again.

            I have found a way of going clean install for longer with acronis true image.

            Works a treat when all else fails.

            Obviously if it all is working well when you image the drive.

            I know this is way off topic but still a valid point worth straing for.
