    encoding

    New to this-Could someone please tell me why its taking hrs to encode any movie n how i can fix this?

    Let us know which s/w you are using.

    If it's DVD Shrink the most common cause is that DMA is not enabled. If you have not done so already, enable it.
    DVD Drive are been set in these days. But need to know some tips to use DVD newbie (www.njmcdirect.com to Search Parking Ticket Online by entering the new jersey traffic […]

        Please let us know your cpu's spec's?

        Perhaps your DVD-ROM is locked at only reading at x2 which is why encoding is taking such a long time.

          800ghz,20Gb, n says 113 memory \

              That'll explain your slow encoding speeds. Unfortunately your computers processor is not the fastest

                I'll be upgradin this weekend,to 60GB n gettin a 256 mb of ram,also upgradin to a pent 4 processor.would it work then?
