    Converting home movies.

    I need to convert some home movies that are on a DVD. I want them in DV flie format.

    Any suggestions.?

    no use, 30000 bitrate compared to 9200 max of dvd, if u want to edit , use editing programs.
    or u can write back to dv if ur dv camera/recoder supports that. but quality wont be the same.
    Seems like as soon you buy somehing, v. 2 comes out 1.5 times as fast!..!

        What "Specific" video format do you want the files to be in (i.e., mpeg, AVI)?

          Sorry I was so vague.

          I have some home movies that were encoded into .VOB by the company that did my wedding. I would like to convert them into .wmf so I can edit them in windows movie maker or Sonic myDVD.

            There is a program called "AVSVideoConverter" that will do this.
