    movie backup/burn question

hi! i already ripped one of my movies to my hard drive without burning. when i try to burn the movie it never turns out right. it either has permanant subtitles or in this case i can' turn off "for the seeing impared" (which story tells the entire movie) when i backup my movie The Passion of the Christ.

i burn the contents of the folder i ripped the movie to such as AUDIO_TS and VIDEO_TS.

what am i doing wrong? what exactly do i need to burn to the dvd? also, is there a way, once i open the files on the hard drive in dvd shrink, can i start the burn without ripping again??

when i burn the audio and video folders with nero it makes me use the recode part of the software. it won't let me just burn the data, which is kind of odd because dvd shrink uses the nero engine to burn the discs (i'm guessing).

    thanks.

"it won't let me just burn the data"

Are you burning in "DVD-Video" mode with Nero?

If you have the "Smart Start" icon on your desktop, doubleclick it and select the DVD tab in the top right-hand corner. Below that there should be a series of additional icons. Find the "Photo and Video" icon (should be the 4th one over from the left) and highlight it. Below, there should appear another icon called "Burn DVD-video files". Click that and it will take you to the "Nero Burning ROM" section. From there, navigate to where you saved your DVD-related files and drag them on top of the "Red" VIDEO_TS folder, and burn the compilation.
