    Compiling a DVD

I'm sure it's a silly question, with an easy answer, but be kind... I'm compiling a DVD with music videos that I want to run from start to finish, without a menu, for party purposes. Is there an easy way to do this without copying every full DVD to my hard drive, then using stop/finish feature on DVD SHRINK to edit down to the one clip that I want? Thanks in advance

Use "Re-author" mode's "Start/End" feature in DVD Shrink to precisely cut the specific clip(s) that you want.

Thanks ormonde, do i have any other option other than to burn each full length DVD to my hard drive first, then clip out the bit that i want? That's a lot of drive space

Only if you have multiple DVD readers and/or burners (one for each DVD)...

"That's a lot of drive space"

You can delete the full DVDs from your hard drive after you've successfully created and burned your compilation...

Hey Ormonde...i'm still around. The team's contract ended shortly after Bremmer left and the Iraqi's took over. I reread that thread we had going...and i have to say it was prophetic...and twice as many people have read it since it's been closed.

Welcome back - glad to hear you made it out safely. I'm sure you have a lot of personal stories to tell. The news seems to be that things have continually been deteriorating. I hear that Fallujah and Samarra have almost fallen totally under the control of insurgents. Not much has changed it appears since Allawi took control. I guess time will tell what is going to happen on a larger scale. Maybe we'll start something up on "Off-Topic" - if the powers that be will allow us to.

Oh no....I didn't get to go. No Squirell of Arabia. Without Bremmer the Iraqis have complete control...and Allawi didn't extend the expensive security contract...figured they could take care of it on their own (he he he). The company's not bidding on a new contract until after the elections....afraid someone might cut and run and leave people in the lurch if he gets elected. Believe it or not, Iraq is just a sideshow now in the war on terror...a mop-up exercize. It's an excellent base to go after the head of the snake...but all that comes to a screaching halt if we elect a traitor in chief. It's bad enough with a wimp in chief mousing around.
