hello, i have an error.

ive used avi joiner, that didnt work, so i decided to use virtualdub 1.4. i ran it and i followed the instructions from the guide and i get this message. it said:

'WARNING: NOTHING TO OUTPUT BFRAME DECODER LAG' that was when i opened my first .avi i was trying to merge or join. then i followed the guide along and went to file > append avi segment and opened the second part of the avi and i recieved yet another error, this one being totally different and it was a popup error:

'virtualdub error'
'cannot append segment "d:\hero.*etc etc*xvid.*etc etc*cd2.avi": the audio streams have different data formats.

i dont get what that means, i know it said audio streams, but what is the data format about?

can someone further explain?

so is there a way that i can change that? i really want to merge the two .avi into one so i can burn it on a DVD. any suggestions? and thanks for the reply.

can you please explain further on "5) Select, for example, 22,050Hz " ? theres a lot of options there, which one is right for me? i have absolutely no idea what those compressions is.

Your screenshots indicate that you're dealing with downloaded illicit copies of commercial media (Hero.2002DVDRip.Xvid.AC3 [TEAM APEX].AVI) Discussion of anything related to such activity is a violation of the rules of these forums (Rule #6 in particular)...
