    grey screen with VirtualDub why?

    why do I get this ugly ass grey screen when trying to use Virtual Dub. and why does my video play slow and choppy when using the preview feature.

    I have read posts by people who swear by virtual dub and it sux !! is it just me or what?

    i reckon you should use nandub 2 pass instead.
    a little bit is better than nada.
    sometimes you want the whole enchilada.

      Have you read the guides and manual for properly using this software anyway? I simply must say that this software (along with Nandub) is a great AVI editing tool and it negates the need for many other separate software.

        using nanbub as you suggested and the grey screen problem is gone.
