    DVD Burning

What is the difference between DVD+ and DVD-, and which one is better or worse for burning USA formatted movies. We have DVD shrink and it asks us this when we want to burn a movie.

Check here to see if your DVD player is compatable. Then use the proper +/-. Alot of the new players can do both but you want maximum compatability with the most players.

There is no "Qualitative" difference between the two formats only compatibility differences among certain DVD standalones, ROM drives, and burners.

In the realm of "not very significant", DVD-Rs can contain approximately 10Mb (tiny) more than DVD+Rs...

That I didn't know. Fits in with Nero saying something about a lead in when getting ready to burn.

            Hi guys

I Use -R with no problems but +R are good too, even better if you have a drive that suports bitsetting and get those compatibility problem on the +R media banned for good.
