    Naming your DVD

I am only getting 15 characters in my movie names, what is the trick to getting more than that? I am using Nero 6.3, and have set it to use ISO 9660 Level 2 - 31 characters. Forgive me if this has been answered somewhere else - I did search first.

"I am only getting 15 characters in my movie names"

Are you sure you're not being misled by trying to enter "illegal" characters (e.g. !@#$%^&*()-=+/?><,';>{}[]|\)

Positive. For example, I will put the following for a DVD title:

SEE_NO_EVIL_HEAR_NO_EVIL, but the DVD will be labeled

      SEE_NO_EVIL_HEA

        "SEE_NO_EVIL_HEA"

Exactly WHERE are you seeing this? If it's in Windows Explorer, that's only because there's initially not enough space to show the entire name. Rightclick on the name and select "Properties" - Look at the top line of the "Properties" box. You should see the full name. Or, in Windows Explorer, single left-click on the name (as if you wanted to rename it) and cursor right, several times...

Technically, I guess it is in explorer, but that is not the problem. When I open my computer, all my drives are listed and when there is a movie in my burner that I have burnt, ( the above for example) that is the label of the movie/disc. When I put in the original disc, it is all there. Now, if use dvd decryptor to make an iso and then burn it, it burns the complete name on the disc. ??

But why? Why not with Shrink or Nero?
