DVDXCopy versus DVDShrink

I've been using DVDXCopy Express with a ton of success for the past year... Purely out of curiosity, I'm wondering how the quality compares to that of DVDShrink?

Before running a side-by-side comparison for myself, I was wondering what the general consensus is? And please explain?

First of all why pay for something when you can it the same thing for free.
Second XCopy doesn't let you make a copy of a copy.
Third, Xcopy places an ID for every copy made for tracking

I like DVDShrink...it is free and does a great job...
