video stops but audio keeps playing

theres something wrong with my windows media player.. i have this video i got from another computer which plays fine, but on my computer, the video scroller is only a few seconds and when the time bar reaches the end, video stops/pauses but the audio keeps going.. its a big file but the video only plays until the end of the time bar..
its a .mpg file using "MPEG Video Decoder" i think.. (thas what it says in the properties of the video)
is ithere ne codecs n stuff i need to d/l or ne thing i can change? tahnkx

How did you transfer it from the "other" computer? If you burned a disc, try playing the disc on the "other" (original source) computer. You may find tha the copy on the disc is incomplete...
