MPG file problems

i haf n mpg video file and it is 700 something MB. when i play it, i cant skip to any further part of the video or itll say some error! and after lyk 1 minute of video it just freezes but the sound of the movie continues on.

ne1 haf ne ideaz wat is wrong?

Sounds like you've downloaded somebody else's work product that is of extremely poor quality...

um...mayb u shuldnt be jumpn 2 such conclusionz SETARIP.

the file is actually of my friend's experimental film...and i helpd finance it. so i guess both ur theories were wrong in my case.

so stop assuming cos it only makes an ASS out of U and ME...n start helpn meeh out...pls?

Rather than trying to jump down my throat, RE-read what I said CAREFULLY:

"Sounds like..."

With your "wonderful" warez-like spelling, you would have been better served by stating in your INITIAL post, "the file is actually of my friend's experimental film...and i helpd finance it."

Based on what you've described as the problem, I'd still only substitute the word "got" for "download" from my initial response, to wit:

"Sounds like you've got somebody else's work product that is of extremely poor quality..."
