dvd snapshot

how can I take a snapshot of a dvd while playing
I do not want to decode it
it takes forever to decode in a good quality

I just want to take a snapshot and edit it with photoshop

I tryed to pres the "prin screen key"
but when I paste the screen shot to a editor the screen of the dvd player is blank

is there any utilyty that can take a snapshot of an dvd movie while playing or paused?

If you play the DVD with WinDVD 3.xxx (or possibly, earlier versions), simply press the "p" key...

for powerdvd, I think its the "c" button

use the above they should work but remember if you are using a hardware card such as the hollywood+ the dvd picture is overlayed after the videocard therefore for the actual pc does not see it so you cannot just copy and paste it. as already said use a software player.
