    AC3 and AVI to SVCD

    I made my own ac3 file and a little movie in avi (and a converted one in mpeg1 and mpeg2 format) without sound. Now how do I combine these two files on a svcd so that I can insert the disc in a dvd-player and watch the movie with dolby digital 5.1 sound?

    To make an SVCD (using the MPEG2 file), use TMPGEnc to multiplex the silent MPEG2 file and the .AC3 file as follows:

    File>>MPEGTools>>Multiplex
    Set the mode to MPEG2-SuperVideoCD
    Load your MPEG2
    Load your .AC3
    Select a new filename for output
    Press the "Run" radio button

    To create a VCD instead, use your MPEG1 file - set the mode to MPEG1-VideoCD. All other steps remain the same.

    Let us know of your success ;>}
