DVD player freezes after 30 mins

I've backed up my copy of Prisoner of Azkaban a couple of times now, once using Full Disk Mode and once using re-author. Both disks play ok in my computer and start off fine in my Panansonic DVD player.

However, after about half an hour or so, the picture freezes but the sound continues. I lent both disks to a friend who said the same thing happened, ie fine in the PC, no good on the DVD player.

My brother also tried to backup his copy of this movie and although it played all the way through on his DVD player, it paused momentarily every few minutes.

I'm using Infiniti -R disks.

Any hints?

Considering they work at all in your standalones, your method seems ok.
I'd check out www.videohelp.com/dvdplayers for media brand compatibility.
