    flicker when watching dvd's

Does anyone know why the video image flickers when I watch dvd's? I am using softcinemaster98 and a Radeon graphics card. It used to work fine with my Rage Pro video card.

Also, does anyone know of a good freeware dvd player?

Perhaps, you may want to upgrade your drivers for your graphics card. WinDVD and PowerDVD are popular dvd players---you can check them out (I don't think they are freeware). However, should the dvd's play fine in these players then it would indicate that your graphics card is problem free.

for "free players" check the tucows network and/or CNET's download.com

Thanks. batman. I downloaded the trial version of WinDVD 3.0 and it works fine. So, the problem must have been Cinemaster98.
