    'Protected Content' What The?!!

I'm converting some Video Tape (yes stuff I've recorded off the televison, naughty me) onto DVD with my Liteon LVW5005 and it works fine 99% of the time.
But..every now and then, recording stops for say a minute with a 'protected content' message coming up on screen.
    Any ideas?

You've probably run into a recording of a "Pay per view" show, that you're not entitled to record, that contains a copy protection scheme...

Its actually just a normal Cable show(Mythbusters) that I've recorded and ripped many times before with no problem at all (On my old DVD recorder)
Strangely enough, the first spisode on the tape was fine it was only the 2nd one that I had the problem with. I suppose it's possible that this episode of the show might just happen to be the first one thats encoded perhaps?

Hmm seems to be a weird one this. Sometime it happens, sometimes it doesnt. And not always in the same spot on the videotape either.
I'm fairly sure its Macrovision related now but I havent yet come up with a permanent fix.
