Burnt DVD's wont work in stand alone DVD player!!!! Help!!

    I REALLY NEED HELP!!!

I recently purchased a DVD writer. I downloaded a torrent file off the internet so i could burn the movie. Initially I could not access the file since my drive partition was FAT32 and I needed NTSF to access a file greater than 4gb. So i converted my drive to NTSF. I was then able to access the file, and then i burned it. I burnt Anchorman and it worked on my sony DVD player that plays burnt DVD's. I was very happy, so i downloaded a few more movies. They are the same file formats, and when i burn them, they work on my computer, but not on my sony dvd player. i noticed someone posted a similiar message as mine on this site, and I've read it through and tried all those options. I even tried uninstalling my dvd player. Nothing works. I've wasted over 10 dvd+r and dvd-r 's. I really would like to find a solution so i can burn movies and have them work on my sony dvd player.

    Please Help!!!

    Thanks alottt
