AVI/MPG files -> DVD(VOB, AOB and IFO)

I've just have a simple question:
Can someboby tell me how I can make VOB, AOD och IFO files from AVI/MPG files, so I can record and watch them in the DVD player.
I know that I can create a SVCD/VCD out of a AVI/MPG, but can I create the VIDEO_TS files?

Do you have Nero Suite 6.. If so you can used NeroVision Express 3 to make DVD's out of AVI/MPEG/MOV/WMV files.

If not you can try TMPGEne to do transcodoing to MPEG2 DVD Complient video and use TMPEGEne DVD to make the DVD. These are 2 seperate applications that can be downloaded here:
