16.3 to 4.3

is it possible to change your aspect ratio from 16.9 to 4.3 ,ive got a movie in dvd/mpeg in 16.9 and want to change it to 4.3 without having to encode it to dvd again is thier an easier way to do it, the movie was encoded from svcd to dvd using tmpge in the first place can anyone please advise tnx.

Try changing your standalone DVD player's display setting, using the remote control...
