fastest fix broken avis missing endbyte

sometime when downloading a movie you are disconnected at 99.9% due to some bug, and you can't fix it by downloading it again. then the movie won't be playable in most players.

so is there any fast way to fix this? theres no error in the movie its a second shorter or so? are you forced to reencode the whole movie?

no, im speaking of all movies in general, such as selfrecorded videos you are sharing with others, gameskill videos, music videos or whatever you can think of.

but that was just an example, forget about download as it goes for any video missing a part at the end.

            Sounds right...

Or use DivFix which, per its README file, "This program was created to be able to watch partially downloaded DivX (AVI) movies.
It can rebuild or strip the index part of the movie, which is at the end of the file.
There are also a basic error detection, which can detect serious errors in the audio/video
            stream."
