Need help on VHS to DVD burning

What is the best thing to use to convert old VHS tapes to DVD? I have looked at :

    AVerMedia DVD EZMaker USB2.0
    AVerMedia DVD EZMaker Pro USB2.0
    or
    Dazzle DVD CREATION STATION 200
Dazzle DVC 80 Digital Video Capture

From what i have read it looks like AVerMedia DVD EZMaker Pro USB2.0 is my best choice. Does anyone else recomend anything else?

First, you need some way to get VHS into digital format on your computer. A dedicated hardware mpeg-2 encoder is the easiest, and best. Hauppage PCR-250 is an ideal choice. There are others.
Second, you probably want an editor. Pinnacle studio, Adobe Premiere are two choices. Most hardware cards come with an editor, see above.
Third, you need something to author the dvd. DVDLab or Tmpgenc DVD Author are very popular. Nerovision Express 3 works, if you use "smart encode". NVE2 doesn't have this option, and should be avoided.
Fourth, you need some sort of burning program. Some authoring apps include one, some do not. You should have got something with your burner.

I figured i would try this.

            VIDEO CAPTURE AVER DVD EZMAKERUSB2.0

I order it yesterday so will let you know when i try it how it works. Feel sure that i will have some problems but will figure them out one at a time I guess.

I would apperciate that very much. As far as the problems that is a given. It seems more and more the manufacturing companys are including less instructions on how to actually us the stuff. My burner cam with nothing as far as instructions go. Just the burning software.
