you can load the .vob files (in the correct order) in an authoring program (such as Tmpgenc dvd author) and it will output the necessary IFO and BUP files, plus make your menu etc. if you want.Comment

You can use "AC3Fix" to correct the headers of each of the other .VOBs
OR
(Assuming your hard drive is in NTFS format)
Use "VOBMerge" or "VOBMERGER" to join ALL of the .VOBs together (which will make the .AC3 header of the first .VOB the header for the entire combined .VOB)...Last edited by setarip; 24 Feb 2005, 02:01 PM.Comment

@"setarip" Yes you are correct, My apologies. The dvd I reauthored was one that I had done that had mpeg1 audio layer 2. Thanx for the info on the AC3Fix, I will remember that. Again thanx for the corrected information.Comment

I can't underdtand why IfoEdit didn't work for you.
You do need to input the stream IDs. There's a tute on IfoEdit's home page, but all you do is click on Create IFOs.
Here's the link - http://ifoedit.wh.fr0zen.com/createifo094.html
If you have no IFOs at all, then you will need to do this for every VTS.
