Audio/Video Out of Synch

Thanks, I'll check with the people at TMPGenc to see what they say about this potentially bad trial version. As for the potential virus, I'll run Norton on it just to be sure.

Right. I am starting to see a pattern here. I have another AVI from a different source that has a similar Audio/Video out of synch problem when re encoded using the method I have described in my original post.

All three that are having problems used Lame 3.92 to encode the Audio. I lame not backward compatible? I have 3.96 installed. I'll try to get hold of 3.92 and install it to see what happens....
