Quick question. Does anyone have experience with printers that print directly on the disc w/out labels? EX: Espson R300. Also, what kind/brand of dvd's do I need for this process? Thanks.

Thanks! Yeah I heard a lot of good things about the Epson. The discs you get, may I ask what the average cost is for a spindle? Thanks for your feedback.Comment

Just a thought,
How much printing are you talking about? I found that the most expensive part of producing a disc is the ink used when putting a full color lable on it. I was buying ink in bulk and it still was expensive. Then I tryed a color laserjet. It works great with lables. The printing is much better and the toner is better in the long run. Useing a Konica Minolta 2400W(paid 299.00 US). Came with tone installed for 1500 or more copies.
Overall: quailty of the printing is much better than an ink jet and less expensive.Comment

Why is it important to have labels folks? Doesn't make the disks play any better. And when they're in the player, you can't see the pretty label, nor can you when it's in the disk case. Use a permanent marker and save yourself money.
Of course, if $$$ are no object, then buy another original when your original copy goes ka-flooey.

Yeah I use the Sharpie on all of my stuff. I'm just referring to backing up the children DVD's so it's easy for the lad and lassie to pick out what they want to watch. I don't do a lot of the printing on labels/discs. Just some. For home movies and stuff. Appreciate the feedback guys. Have a good one!Comment
