I am even more surprised by the behavior of some players. Apparently, in some case, the SPRM 7 do not hold the chapter number nor the program number! Therefore, I have changed the test a little bit to show also if it is the Cell number that is stored in SPRM 7.
Also, there is now a NTSC version.

The NTSC/PAL versions should always give the same results. I've done the NTSC version so that it is possible to run the test on a NTSC player that doesn't support PAL DVDs.

Also, if the previous test returned PTT or PG, there is no need to run the new one again. The result will be the same.
But if the result was the "Unknown Error", then I will be interested to know the result of the new test. It will report if the Cell number was stored in SPRM 7, or even another, unknown number.

@Mig$y: Could you run the new test-DVD on your Samsung? Thanks!

Thanks, Mig$y. That confirm that WinDVD is somewhat better than PowerDVD! (WinDVD 6 holds the PTT number: Bravo!)
