HELP-How to merge DAT files

Sir,
I have a Sony DCR TRV 265 E digital handycam. When I made a CD of the one hour tape recording by connecting it Handycam through a USB cable to the computer(and used the required Sony Software) I got 6 DAT files (avseq1.dat,avseq2.dat....avseq5.dat) of 10 minutes each. The problem is that whenever I am seeing the CD, everytime after 10 minutes i have to go to the next file to see the second part, third part etc of the home video i have made.

Is there any software or method through which I could combine the six DAT files into 1 DAT file(or any other format) so that I could watch in peace.

Please help dear friends as i am very worried.

Use "TMPGEnc" (Different than "TMPGEnc DVD Author"):

TMPGEnc>>File>>MPEGTools>>Merge & Cut
