streaming asx video player?

Basically, I would like to stream BBC World News from the windowsmedia.com website. This .asx stream works only with WM 6.4 I tried it on yeahplayer and it didn't work. The reason, I want to try it on another player is that WM 6.4 still consumes far too many system resources on my old computer.

My question is, is there another player capable of playing .asx streams?
