    Native MP4 Editing

I am not sure where this topic belongs, but I am looking for a "native" MP4 editor. ie. something that will take mp4 files and allow editing and re-output without transcoding.

The purpose if for taking mp4s created by PSP Video9 for the PSP and editing them, without having to edit the original and re-transcode, or for a situation where the original can not be edited before transcoding to mp4.

    thanks

If by "MP4", you are referring to DivX-compressed or XviD-compressed .AVIs and if by editing you are referring to simply cutting out frames/portions of the video, you can use VirtualDub or VirtualDubMOD to accomplish this (Set BOTH "Video" and "Audio" to "Direct Stream Copy", set start and end points for the first group of frames you wish to delete and select "Delete". Do this for each of the portions you wish to delete. When finished, select "Save as" and save with a new filename)

What I mean are .MP4s created by PSP Video 9. Editing would involve removing portions of video and merging video segments.
