Problem capturing Audio with TV Tuner

I have a Hauppauge WinTV USB tv tuner, and the video capture works perfectly fine. However, I cannot capture audio. When I play the file back the audio is about 10x faster as if you're fast forwarding on a VCR. What could be the problem? I am not using "line in" because my laptop doesn't seem to have a line in jack, so I'm choosing the other option. Nonetheless, the outcome is a very high pitch / fast audio. Any thoughts?

What software? Any audio compression? What audio settings in your software? What sound card/device? Regular analog cable, or digital input? Hauppauge USB or USB-2? Have you updated the audio card drivers? What sampling rate/frequency? What player are you viewing the captures on?

      What software?
Any software I try to capture with. WinTV, VirtualDub, anything.

      Any audio compression?
None. When I try audio compression the problem still remains.

What audio settings in your software?
      Default.

      What sound card/device?
Uhm, don't know the name and don't know why it's relevant seeing how everything works perfectly except these captures. It just speeds it up about 10x more than the original.

Regular analog cable, or digital input?
      ??

      It's a USB tv tuner.

      Hauppauge USB or USB-2?
      Hauppauge USB.

Have you updated the audio card drivers?
      Yeah.

      What sampling rate/frequency?
Any I try it turns out the same.

What player are you viewing the captures on?
Any. Still the same problem. DivX, Windows Media, anything.

What model laptop, and sound chip?
Are you positive it doesn't have line in, or aux in?
Have you updated the hauppauge drivers for it?
Have you tried changing the audio source in the capture program?
If you don't have the line-in connected, just how ARE you getting audio?
