hi.
could somebody please explain to me something.. it really drives me crazy.
how come srt (subrip) subtitles need to be synchronized to the movie's fps?!!
i have some subtitles that aren't synchronized to movies I download.. and the timing synchronization is not enough. sometimes I have to change the FPS synchronization as well to have a good subtitles sync.
i mean.. SRT subtitles go like this:
00:01:32,542 --> 00:01:40,103
it shows the subtitles according to TIME. it doesnt have anything to do with Frames Per Second!
what does it matter if a movie has 25 frames per second.. or 23.976 frames per second?
it's still ONE second. and it doesn't matter how much frames go in that second.
so what's difference between the timing of a movie with 25FPS and a movie with 23.976FPS???
the audio doesn't change anyway
do u understand what i'm trying to say?
why do SRT subtitles - which are shown according to time - need to be synchronized according to the movie's FPS?
thanks,
TF3K
