    Newbie here...video/audio out of sync

    I'm having a couple of bad days with trying to capture video from my sony trv22, to my hard drive.
    I have dazzle 90, with a bunch of pinnacle software, a usb card. I am using winxp home edition that Just installed, so has all the patches, I believe.
    When I captured the video of my sons band(40 minutes worth) in mpg, the video was very choppy. Then I tried to capture it in avi, which wasn't choppy, but the video and audio are out of sync, but not on the video tape in my camcorde. I believe the audio is in real time, but not the video in playback. I am pretty commited to figuring this out, but am pretty new too, so being blonde isn't a excuse.

      You might consider donating it to a neighborhood school ;>}
