    any info?

I'm new to this. I recently deleted a video file I shouldn't have. luckily I had a copy on dvd already. So i'm trying to get it back onto my hard drive in order to edit some more. when I do so with dvd shrink it automaticlly uses intervid as the player. for some reason this isn't compatiable with the editing program i'm using. I'd like to have it on the windows media player. but how?

Welcome to the forums freddull! Right click the file, and left click "Open With..". Then select WMP from the list.

I recently deleted a video file i wish i hadn't. luckily i have it on dvd. now I'm trying to get it back onto my harddrive in a format i can continue to edit with. when i use dvd shrink it automaticlly uses intervid to play it. this for some reason doesn't work with the editing software i use. i would like it to play on the windows media player. how?

thanks for the quick response. unfortunately for some reason when i chose wmp nothing plays. also, i'm trying to get it back into the video explosion program to fix a couple things. so it needs to be in a format that is supported by video explosion.

If in the future, this happens again. Instead of starting a new thread in the right forum, just ask a moderator to move it there for you. Thanks!
